The space at 104 Blue Star, much coveted but never previously occupied, was created during a remodel at the Blue Star Arts Complex.

Numerous prospective tenants inquired, but felt unsure about the primitive buildout's lack of lighting. Our first order of business was to devise an attractive, yet inexpensive, lighting system, and then to add carpets to moderate sounds.

Over the next six months, we hosted a variety of events to display to prospective tenants the space's potential: live music performances; photo and video studios; vendor markets; KPSA Radio live broadcasts; karaoke nights; film screenings; art galleries; and dance performances.
