To celebrate the 80th birthday of San Antonio's widely loved Mike Casey, we held a party at Sunset Station with 3 live bands and a fashion show of Mike’s clothes (worn by several neighborhood teens).

We put on a Mike Casey art show, displaying 25 artists' creative renditions of Mike. A portion of the sales was donated to his favorite gallery, Sala Díaz; the rest went to the artists.

The second half of the party took place in an empty space at Blue Star; this space later became our Slab Cinema Arthouse!
